Mastiffs for life.
My love for the English Mastiff started in 2000 while I was living at home in Armada, MI. I was working at a local boarding kennel where I was able to experience all the wonderful breeds of dogs and what each breed had to offer. There was something special about those over-sized gentle giants. At the time I still lived with my parents, so getting one was out of the question.
After graduating High School and College, I returned home in search of a new job. Since the search took longer expected, it was the perfect time to buy/train a puppy. I knew Mastiffs could rack up care/vet expenses very quickly, so I had contributed to a “doggie savings account” for years, specifically for my 1st mastiff.
After 6 to 7 years of researching the Mastiff breed, I had an idea of what I was looking for. I did not however, know who the best breeders/people to get contact with or where to find them in order to buy a show quality puppy. After thoroughly searching online I found a breeder about 7 hours away from MI. From that breeder I purchased my 2nd pick puppy from a litter of 12. Sky High Hayley’s Comet. My first mastiff, the one I waited so long for and now the mother to my first litter of puppies.
